Read the passage then choose the best answer Since 1877, the Fresh Air Fund has helped poor children from New York City spend summers in the country. Each year, over ten thousand children, ages 6 to 18, participate in the program. Some stay at a camp; others live with a host family. The fund pays for allexpenses.The camps are for 8-to 15-year-olds. At camp, children can learn about the stars, see deer and cows and other animals, and go hiking, fishing, and of course, swimming. The children learn responsibility by helping out with chores like making beds and waiting on tables.

Read the passage carefully and then answer the questions below Once a farmer lived a comfortable life with his family. His chicken laid many eggs which the farmer used to sell to buy food and clothing for his family. One day, he went to collect the eggs and discovered one of his chicken laid a gold eggs. He shouted excitedly to his wife, “We’re rich! We’re rich!”. His wife ran to him and they both looked at the egg in amazement. The wife wanted more, so her husband decided to cut open all the chickens and find more gold eggs. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find any egg. When he finished, all the chicken were dead. There were no more eggs of any kind for the foolish farmer and his greedy wife.
