The bar charts depict the percentage of the total world population in India, China, the USA, Japan in 1950 and 2001, and predictions for 2050. It can be clearly seen from the overall trend that most people lived in China in 1950 and 2002. Also, given information shows that the lowest population will be in Japan in the future. According to the data, there were almost 25 % of the population in China in 1950, compared to other countries where were much fewer people this year, India (15%), the USA (8%), and Japan (4%). The statistics deteriorated for all countries except India with time. The bar charts illustrate that Japan (3%) and the USA (5%) had almost the same little points in 2002, while India and China had almost similar high data, 17% and 20%, respectively. Moreover, the percentage of the USA population will not change, while the most number of people will live in India in 2050.

A lot of people prefer interaction on social media, instead of face-to-face conversation. This is a controversial statement that has both advantages and disadvantages that will be discussed in this essay. A tremendous number of people believe that the increasing trend of social interaction on the Internet is a positive phenomenon. The main argument is that human beings have an opportunity to talk or send messages to many people in one moment. They suppose that such a method helps people with multitasking. For instance, if a person has a job meeting at 2 P.M., but she cannot be present at this time because of family problems, her colleagues may start a Zoom call to discuss all issues and do not force anyone to meet face-to-face. On the other hand, real conversations are crucial because they help people be more open with each other and show their feelings. For example, if a person, who has health problems, sends messages that she is fine to her parents on WhatsApp, they will not know that it was a lie. However, if that were a real communication, her parents could notice it and help their child to book an appointment with a doctor. Moreover, they could mentally support her. In conclusion, the use of social media is necessary for modern society, however, that could be a huge problem for addicted people, who hate face-to-face interactions and never leave their homes. From my point of view, human beings should balance their social media life and real life to stay mentally healthy and feel happier.
