The table provides data of the amount of waste production in six countries over a twenty-year period, from 1980 - 2000. Two figures unavailable can be ignored without affecting analyzing the big picture. Overall, there are two remarkable features. First, it was invariable that, over these years, the amount of waste production produced by the US significantly exceeded any other nation, and was even far much more than the aggregate amount of waste production of the other five countries. Second, Korea was the only country which saw a declination of the amount of waste. From 1980 to 1990, except Ireland and Korea(whose data is partially unavailable), all the other four countries saw an increase in their rubbish amount. The increase was relatively moderate. From 1990 to 2000, except Ireland and Korea, the other four countries experienced notable increase in rubbish amount. However, the amount of waste of Korea decreased by over 1/3, which was very remarkable.

While some people highlight the advantages of as much communication as possible, other people emphasize that whether or not share the information should depend on the specific situation. Both of them make sense. Vibrant communication is vital for the development of academic, research and business, but we must watch closely that we do not reveal the information that must be kept secret. On the one hand, regular communication is fundamental to academics and business. The importance is marked by numerous international conferences across the world every year. The leading scholars are more than willing to attend the conferences to get novel and inspirational ideas from others, which will greatly enhance their work in the future. Also, as for young students, they are especially in need of communication, which is crucial to broaden their view and enlarge their realm of knowledge. Talking with a nobel laureate face to face is very beneficial to their whole academic career. Additionally, communication is highly valued by businessmen also, and that is one of the reasons why they form up guilds and many other kinds of organizations, the function of which is ensuring information flow. Without information flow, few people can perceive the potential demand of consumers and succeed in business. On the other hand, however, there do exist some information which is not allowed to be revealed. For example, the data of an experiment must be kept secret until the thesis is written up and published. Otherwise, other labs may use your data and write an essay and publish. Moreover, secret information is of extreme importance to a company. If this portion of information is revealed to the rivals, the company will face great danger. In conclusion, we should endeavor to establish healthy and vibrant communication, and also ensure the safety of secret information, both of which are very important.
