The illustration explains the ways that solar panels is being used in providing power for household uses. It outlines the pathway that the current follows starting at the absorption of energy from the sun and concludes with the utility grid and its function. The first half of the process starts off with the energy from the sun being absorbed and converted into a DC stream within the panels. The inverter then changes this DC current into an AC stream. Furthermore, it is also responsible for controling electricity and production. The AC stream flows through the electrical panel which is responsible for the distribution of power to the household. Any solar power that is not being used will travel back into the grid by way of the utility meter, In the event of exceeding the amount of solar power available, the utility grid will kick in and provide its own electricity for household uses. This usually happens when there is lack of sunlight on a cloudy or rainy day.

In today's society only a small amount of people set time aside to partake in hobbies. There are several reasons for this decline in partaking in hobbies, including an unhealthy work-life balance, and the effects is evident on both the person self and society. In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons why people tend to neglect partaking in hobbies these days, is an unhealthy work-life balance. In today's day and age people tend to put in longer hours at work in order for better compensation, but by the time they get home, they are exhausted. As a result they shove hobbies to the side and revert to common time consumers, such as watching televison, as it takes up a lot less energy than the bobby would. Because of this lack in hobby participation, several effects can be seen within the individual self as well as the community they find themselves in. Looking at the person self, we can see a decline in creativity in all areas, including work and personal lives. For example, a graphic designer that does not make time for his or her hobby, may start to be drawn to the same ideas instead of thinking outside the box. In the same way, the neglecting of spending time on a hobby will result in the lack of people skills and a sense of belonging. The reason for this is that when you participate in a hobby, you usually connect with people around you with the same interests, therefore creating a community. For instance, when my hobby is playing netball, I become part of a team which in turn gives me a sense of belonging within society and I also learn to communicate and connect with people from different walks of life. In conclusion I find it important for people to set time aside to partake in a hobby despite their busy work life, as this will improve creativity and also create a place where they feel part of the community.
