The chart illustrates the age structure of the populations of France and India in the year 1984 and is measured in percentages and age groups. Overall, India has a higher percentage population in comparison to France. In terms of population, India has a comparatively higher population than France from age group 0-5 years up until age group 40-45 years. However, there is a significant decrease in population after 40-45 years for India whereas there is a more noticeable increase in population for France. The population of males and females in India remain equal all throughout the age groups however this is not the case for France. The percentage of the male populations in France are lower in comparison to the female population after the ages 55-60 years. The populations of male and female living past the age of 70 in India is equal whereas the for France the male population significantly decreases in France.

Personal family history is a topic found appealing to many people in order to get to know more about themselves. This essay will discuss the primary reasons why people wish to know more about their family history along with my perspective on why this is a positive interest to have. To begin with, people tend to learn about their family history in order to to find and meet relatives or people that have been associated with their family. This helps to create new relationships or reaccquaint people within the family which further helps individuals gain more information regarding their family. For people who believe they no longer have much family, it is very beneficial as they are able to create bonds with others who are related to them. Moreover, many people want to learn more about their culture and their family's past which allows them to immerse more into their own culture and be fascinated by the new information they have learned. Additionally, family history helps people find other cultures and races that may have been associated with the family which further helps them gain knowledge regarding other cultures as well. In my opinion, I believe that learning about one's own family history is significantly important as it helps an individual to know more about themselves and learn mistakes their family might have made in the past. Changes in mindset and outlook on life have always changed throughout generations hence when people view their own family history they can understand improvements made throughout generations and gain knowledge on how they can improve themselves by applying information from their history. In conclusion, people want to discover and educate themselves on their family history because of multiple reasons ranging from learning more about one's own culture, reaccquaintaning with people related to their family and and gaining knowledge from other cultures. In my perspective this discovery is positive as it allows people to learn more about themselves.
