Bài viết mẫuThe table illustrates the salaries of secondary/high school teachers in 2009. Overall the graph shows that starting wages were the highest in Luxembourg, following by Denmark, Japan and Korea, depicting that Australia was the country in which basic salaries were the lowest.
After 15 years of teaching people from Australia and Japan could see their annual income almost doubled, passing from 28000 to 48000 and from 34000 to 65000 respectively, whereas for the other countries this increase was not as noticeable as it was with regard to the first two states.
The maximum wage you could earn in Australia and in Denmark was the same than the one you used to receive soon after you had started to work. However, major changes can be seen for teacher coming from Luxembourg, Japan and Korea due to the fact that the maximum amount of money they could earn was more than the one they could get after 15 years.
It's worth mentioning that a teacher needed to work for 37 years in order to reach the maximum wage in Japan, while in Denmark this time span was only 8 years.
