The table below shows the salaries of secondary/high school teachers in 2009. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.

The table illustrates the salaries of secondary/high school teachers in 2009. Overall the graph shows that starting wages were the highest in Luxembourg, following by Denmark, Japan and Korea, depicting that Australia was the country in which basic salaries were the lowest. After 15 years of teaching people from Australia and Japan could see their annual income almost doubled, passing from 28000 to 48000 and from 34000 to 65000 respectively, whereas for the other countries this increase was not as noticeable as it was with regard to the first two states. The maximum wage you could earn in Australia and in Denmark was the same than the one you used to receive soon after you had started to work. However, major changes can be seen for teacher coming from Luxembourg, Japan and Korea due to the fact that the maximum amount of money they could earn was more than the one they could get after 15 years. It's worth mentioning that a teacher needed to work for 37 years in order to reach the maximum wage in Japan, while in Denmark this time span was only 8 years.

Newspapers and media in general nowadays tend to concentrate too much on negative aspects and thus it has been stated that the tendency of news reports in them to focus more on problems and emergencies rather than on positive things is harmful and dangeurous to the individuals and the society as a whole. Personally I agree with this statement and I think that media should report more about positive and delight aspects of our society, therefor, It would be better to start reporting less and less negative events, focusing more on articles which can be source of inspiration for our generation. Firstly, I strongly believe that no one is keen on reading or watching a report about hassles, issues or emergencies and thus I think that newspapers ought not to focus on these subjects entirely. Besides, all these kinds of article have a huge impact on our feelings and sometimes this could lead to a worsening in our emotional state. For example, one day I was very sad after having watched a news in which something very bad was reported and I firmy believe that I would not have felt that way if I had not watched it. Secondly, most of the times problems or emergencies are related to real people and by exposing them their privacy could be violated. This may be responsable for many unplesant actions that the ones who are the protagonists of the article could do afterhaving red the report owing to the fact that often writes do not know how to be gentle and discreate, reporting misleading or very personal facts. To conclude, I concur with the fact that media ought to focus more on positive news and this is because problem or emergency articles can make people's emotional states worse and they can violate their privacy, leading to severe consequences.
